Bob Wiseman is a composer and songwriter who has won Juno awards and CBC lifetime achievement awards. The National Campus Association nominated him in 2010 for the Governor General’s Media Arts Award. His upcoming 13th album “GIULETTA MASINA AT THE OSCARS CRYING” features guests Mary Margaret Ohara, Serena Ryder, Basia Bulat, Maylee Todd and Richard Underhill. Since 2010 he has extensively toured “Actionable”, his one man comedy about legal encounters in the music business, which will be made into a feature film in 2013 (or so says the voices in his head). Some career highlights include being kissed by Odetta, being butted by Wesley Willis and being on the piano accompanying Meryl Streep in the last scene of Postcards From the Edge. He believes vegetarianism, socialism and appreciating the music of Sun Ra to be equal signs of intelligence..
