The Ghosts In Our Machine

Jonathan Balcombe PhD

“It’s my honor and pleasure to support THE GHOSTS IN OUR MACHINE. I am an admirer of Liz Marshall’s film work, and a staunch supporter of efforts to enlighten humanity to the stark disconnect between our dismal treatment of animals as a whole, and what we now understand about animals’ keen awareness and sentience. As an animal behavior scientist and author of several books on animal emotions, I have become convinced that ignorance is the greatest barrier to a new paradigm in human-animal relations. THE GHOSTS IN OUR MACHINE will do much to inform and inspire people to change their personal role in animals’ lives.”
