“I just wanted to add my support for THE GHOSTS IN OUR MACHINE and I could not agree more. There are indeed long suffering ghosts in the machinery of our expedient “good life”…We are so blessed in this part of the world that I think it is about time we addressed the suffering that animals endure. Being a lover of horses I know first hand of the brutality visited on these noble creatures who have served us for centuries. I have seen three year old thoroughbred race horses shipped to the slaughter house because of an injury sustained at the track – an injury that would only take a year or so off track to mend. This is awful behavior for an enlightened society such as ours. It is important that we stop treating our animals like commodities, be it for fashion, for sport or for science. That is why I am supporting this documentary and agree to be an Animal Ambassador.”
